Las Nubes is a women-run farming cooperative located in the remote mountains above Matagalpa. We were connected to Las Nubes by our friend Ben from Gold Mountain Coffee Growers, an exporting company that connects small-holder farmers in Nicaragua directly to coffee roasters in the U.S. Ben also provides microcredit loans to partnered farmers to increase both the quality of the coffee produced, and the sustainable economic/environmental practices of the farms.
