Our second year buying from this Certified Organic, single estate farm. This coffee excites us because traceability to the grower is so hard in Ethiopia. Even if you form an allegiance to purchasing directly from a co-op, that doesn't guarantee the same growers will sell to that coop. With our connection to Mr. Girma Eshetu, it is possible to have a positive feedback loop of long term purchasing, crop feedback, ability to make positive impact at origin.
