In 2016, our founder Evan Armstrong, was in grad school at Bowling Green State University. As a strength & conditioning coach working extremely early mornings and long weekends, he found himself needing a way to get quality coffee on a grad-student-friendly budget. He got himself some green coffee beans online and roasted them in a cast iron skillet. Through lots of trial & error, Evan eventually got a drinkable product. He thought it was pretty damn good. His friends and family agreed. 

And so Viking Coffee Co was born. Since then VIKG has grown to a team of 2 (Evan and his wife Marissa) and has loyal customers across the nation.

We are lifelong learners. We’re doers. We aren’t afraid to try new things. We aren’t afraid to fail. We believe in the process. We believe in teamwork. We believe in each other.
