Its complex spiciness and chocolate laced aftertaste combine to give a crisp smooth flavor. The beans are from Antigua where the rich volcanic soil, high elevation, and the canopy of shade trees lends itself very well to the dark roast. As Campesina means farmer, we've created this roast to bring attention to the women in coffee farming. Women are involved in all aspects of coffee farming fieldwork, harvest, sorting; all the manual work. We aim to source beans that support their advancement.
