Notes from the curator

This excellent coffee from Guatemala is from the single farmer finca of Concepcion Villatoro in Huehuetenango and consists of Bourbon, Caturra and Catuai types. It is grown at 1,700 meters above sea level. This coffee is fully washed and dried on patios. The profile of this coffee is very unique for Guatemala as has fooled many of us during blind tastings into thinking it is an African coffee.
