Notes from the curator

There is plenty of coffee that grows around the Western Ghats Mountain range, but in this particular area of India, traceable, single origin estate coffee is hard to find. Kamalanathan Ramamoorthy recognized the potential for coffees in this area. He encouraged smallholder and medium estate farmers–his father included–to separate their lots, and helped them export their coffee to the US.
