- Collaborate with the electromechanical sub-system owners to define test plans for a range of performance, reliability and safety requirements at both the component and system levels
- Develop the detailed test setups, procedures and pass/fail criteria based on product requirements
- Design and build the relevant test fixtures required to ensure consistent and accurate test outcomes
- Analyse the measurement data using statistical techniques
- Clearly document the test process, results and analysis, and present these to the relevant teams and stakeholders
- Use a methodical and analytical approach to root cause analysis and help to identify corrective actions
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science subject (BEng or BSc)
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a technical field (preferred mechanical, electrical/hardware, hardware verification/validation)
- Experience with creating automated installations or test setups (mechanical/electrical, mechatronics)
- Experience in creating high quality technical documentation
- An analytical mindset with a structured and methodical approach to tasks
- A good understanding of physics principles
- An eye for the details and focus on high quality output
- Strong practical skills and a hands-on approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Strong interest in a startup environment
- Experience with automated testing and/or PLC
- Experience with (rapid) prototyping in either mechanical and/or electromechanical systems (e.g. 3D printing, dev platforms such as Arduino)
- Experience with simulation software
- Experience with Jira/Confluence (agile/lean development process)
- Experience with state-of-the-art consumer electronics and connected devices
- Experience with Bean-to-Cup (fully automatic) coffee machines
