Heritage Roasting Company established in 2013 by Stuart and Sara Sutherland is located in the heart of Shasta Lake, California.  The dream to champion community around a top quality cup of coffee began when Stuart designed and built a coffee roaster and ran a coffee business out of their garage. The Sutherlands dreamed of having a coffeehouse to serve as a hub for community development. After training at Portland’s American Coffee and Barista School Heritage Roasting Company was born.

Today, Heritage Roasting Company is a quality name that is known throughout California and many parts of the US.  With a consistent drive to provide quality coffee, HRC supplies wholesale beans to grocery, adventure hubs, non-profits, and specialty coffee shops including their own brick and mortar, Heritage Coffeehouse.  Retail offerings includes online shopping to ensure this amazing coffee can be made available to everyone.

As community champions, who offer seed-to-cup traceability and ethically sourced coffee, Heritage Roasting Company is more than a business.  It is an authentic expression of connecting people through a quality coffee experience.

We offer a great variety of blends and single origin coffee beans to choose from.  They are constantly cupped and measured for quality which we are confident you'll notice and appreciate.  

Unique to our collection are the All Natural, and, Organic Compliant flavored coffee!  This "dry" process does not use the chemical base of propylene glycol commonly used in flavoring coffee.  It's also coffee grinder friendly as a result.  You will also notice a more smooth, and less bitter flavor profile in our flavored coffee.

Espresso Republic was established in 2010 with one goal in mind; to bring great coffee back to the people. Coffee is our obsession, our daily routine, our discipline and we want to share that with you. Details are everything to us and acknowledging the nuances in each coffee is our job. We believe we can pursue excellence from sourcing to roasting and make it approachable for coffee professionals and curious consumers alike. At the heart of the company is an incredible staff that is united together by a common passion for coffee. Each team member brings with them extensive experience working as Baristas. This common experience allows our team to always keep the Barista in mind while constantly learning and helping to build the specialty coffee drinking community.
